EXECUTIVE TEAM
AMANDA DENNEY
President
Amanda Denney is the Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility at Elements Financial based in Indianapolis, IN. She began her career in credit unions 18 years ago and has held positions at several different levels starting as a part-time call center specialist at MSUFCU. Ms. Denney attended Michigan State University and received a master’s degree in Management, Leadership, and Strategy in 2020 and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration: Management from Northwood University in 2018. Her work has focused on systemic banking issues and expanding access to individuals through financial literacy, products, and education. Ms. Denney has created nationally recognized DEIB programs that help enhance workplace culture for employees and better serve the needs of the community.
During her free time, Ms. Denney enjoys spending time with her two sons where they travel, do home improvements, or garden together. She is an avid reader, homesteader, and a motorcycle enthusiast. In the warm months you can find Ms. Denney and her family at Lake Michigan or traveling abroad and visiting new places.
LAUREN KELLY
Vice President
Lauren Kelly is the Westfield Branch Manager at Indiana Members Credit Union. She joined the credit union movement in 2021, starting as a part-time teller. She just recently became a Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor. She enjoys volunteering and being able to give back to the community. Lauren enjoys spending time with her family and dog, Murphy. She loves traveling, cycling, watching IndyCar, and cheering on the Colts, Pacers, and Purdue. Lauren is passionate about working with members to help them achieve their goals and building lasting relationships with the community.
BRIAN SWICK
Secretary
Brian began his journey with Everwise Credit Union in 2020 and became an Assistant Branch Manager in Crawfordsville in 2023. Brian serves on the Community Council for DEIB at Everwise. Brian is the Chairperson of Everwise Credit Union's Early Career Employee Resource Group, which promotes mentorship and fostering growth.
In his personal life, Brian finds joy in the company of his wife, Jennie, and their two small dogs, Weasley and Bernadette. Beyond the banking world, he is an active participant in his local community theater, "The Sugar Creek Players," where his versatility shines as an actor, director, and set-builder.
LOREN GARBER
Treasurer
Loren Garber is the Accounting Manager at Energy Plus Credit Union. He has worked in financial services since High School, starting as a Teller on the bank side, and then moving into accounting once joining the credit union sphere. He has been at Energy Plus since 2015 and was promoted in the Accounting department to his current role in 2019. Loren graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He was a crasher at the Indiana Credit Union League Convention in 2021 and regularly attends the Governmental Affairs Conference to meet with Indiana’s Congressional delegates to advocate for the Credit Union Movement. He has also been active at the Chapter level, and has volunteered on the Habitat for Humanity project and with JA BizTown 3-E events prior to joining the board. Loren enjoys mountain biking and is an avid college basketball fan.
